Nizar Ouarti is Associate Professor at Sorbonne UPMC (Université Pierre et Marie Curie), first ranked university in France. He is recently in CNRS delegation in the IPAL laboratory. He received a PhD of Collège de France in the field of Cognitive Sciences in 2007, this PhD was a collaboration with the Car company PSA (Peugeot-Citroën). He was postdoctoral researcher at INRIA. His topics of interest are egomotion (motion perception, motion estimation), computational vision (3D reconstruction and augmented reality) and Robotics. He has 5 patents and over 20 scientific articles. He conducted different projects with several french companies: Alten, Parrot, Thales and PSA. He is co-PI on a NRF project related to Robotics.
