Thibaut received a double engineering master degree from Supélec, France and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. Supélec, short for "École Supérieure d'Électricité", is one of France's prestigious Grandes Écoles where he studied electrical and computer engineering. A formation deepened at TUM with a specialization in information technology and human-computer interaction. His final research assignment was realized in IPAL laboratory, under the supervision of Mounir Mokhtari, on user interface plasticity with application to pervasive assistive environments. Following this assignment, Thibaut embarked with IPAL as a doctoral student continuing with this research focus. He successfully defeded his PhD in Paris, on the 18th of November 2013.
