The National University of Singapore (NUS) is now accepting applications for fully-subsidized PhD positions for 2025, 2026 and 2027 intake. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring researchers to join one of the world’s leading universities and benefit from substantial financial support throughout their doctoral studies.  

These opportunities are available to European citizens who wish to work with IPAL researchers in Singapore and in France.

The notable scholarships available include: 

  1. NUS Research Scholarship:
  • Monthly stipend of S$2,700
  • Tuition fees covered
  • Additional S$500 per month after passing the qualifying exam, for a maximum of four years
  1. NUS-SINGA Scholarship:
  • Similar conditions to the NUS Research Scholarship
  • One-off air travel allowance of up to S$1,500 (economy class)
  • One-off settling allowance of S$1,000

The application deadline is June and December every year (check the exact date on the NUS application page).
