2024 Edition
Each year, the international IPAL laboratory (CNRS, NUS, A*STAR, Univ Toulouse 3, Toulouse INP, CYU) organizes a workshop which promotes collaboration between France and Singapore in the field of computer science (AI, Data, HCI, NLP, etc.). This workshop is an opportunity to take stock on existing IPAL collaborations and to launch new collaborative projects.
In 2024, SinFra will take place in Singapore from June 24 to 25 and will be hosted by NUS and A*STAR.

2023 Edition
This year, the annual SINFRA workshop will take place in Toulouse, on 29 & 30 June 2023. Find out more about the preliminary program, as well as the poster requirements through the link below.
In addition to this year’s SINFRA workshop, several satellite workshops will also be organised on 28 September by some WPs of the DesCartes Program (WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5).
2022 Edition
Taking advantage of the annual IPAL SINFRA workshop happening on the 15 and 16 of June 2022, CY Cergy Paris University, Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University and INP Toulouse were all present in NUS, alongside NUS, A*STAR and the CNRS to sign a 5-year research collaboration agreement. This came after a first signing ceremony, the previous January, where the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and the National University of Singapore (NUS) renewed the IPAL’s agreement until 2025.
2019 Edition
In line with the successful Singaporean-French Symposiums, SinFra’2019 was the 4th edition and took place in Singapore on 12-13 December 2019. The symposium proposed outstanding talks related to the shared interest in the research field of Artificial Intelligence. SinFra welcomes researchers, industrial and collaborators under IPAL International Research Lab and those who wish to collaborate with French and Singaporean institutions.
